Raymond's Corner Store

"Next to 107 Williams, we had the little corner grocery store. It was Raymond's. And there was one in every neighborhood. You could get meat, bread. David would go. We always gave my oldest son the exact change, because if we gave him a buck to go get a loaf of bread, he spent the rest on erasers and pencils, don't ask me why. So even my husband said we got to give him the correct change" —Joan Fortier
